AIA NYS Fellows Workshop

The Fellows Workshop provides section-by-section guidance about the schedule, contents, and formatting requirements for an FAIA submission to the AIA National Jury. Members of the AIANY Fellows Committee will lead the seminar, giving tips and insights gleaned from their combined experience as candidates, sponsors, and reference writers. All chapter-nominated candidates are invited to attend; sponsors and one administrative support may be registered along with the nominee at no charge. Anyone interested in the FAIA process may also register and attend.

Advancement to the AIA College of Fellows is granted for significant achievement in design, preservation, education, literature, and service. It honors architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level. Architects who have been members for 10 or more years are eligible for consideration.

This event is offered in person and virtually; proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination (for attendees ages 5 and up) with photo ID for adults is required to attend in person. Food and beverages will be served. Face masks are required for visitors ages 2-5, and optional for those vaccinated. Read the full Health and Safety Protocol here.

If you register for an online ticket, you will receive an email with a Zoom link to access the program.
