Join NYSERDA, NYSHRC and NYSDEC for a virtual update on the CAC's draft scoping plan and what it means to the built environment.
The presentation will be a summary of the greenhouse gas and co-pollutant emissions reductions strategies for the buildings sector that are included in the CAC draft Scoping Plan. The strategies were developed by the Energy Efficiency and Housing advisory panel which consisted of subject matter experts on buildings. Ample time will be afforded for the audience Q&A on the content in the draft scoping plan and the process for submitting comment to the Climate Action Council. The comment period closes in the first half of 2022 and this session would provide an opportunity to have a dialogue on the draft plan. The desired outcome is to have the conference participants provide informed comment to the CAC as they work on finalizing the scoping plan this year. (Submitted for AIA CES credits)
