Join the Emerging Professionals committee for an informal, no-commitment, social speed-mentoring event to kick off the summer. Meet and mix with architects and designers over (free!) drinks and food as part of the committee’s summer meeting. Then, we’ll split into 3 groups where experienced professionals will host conversations centered around their own experiences and specified topics like "starting your own practice," "work-life balance," "teaching," “alternative paths,” or "engaging with research.” After 15 minutes, these small groups will be shuffled to allow all participants to engage with each topic and guest. Contact information will be exchanged afterwards so that conversations can continue if something clicks. This event is open to all regardless of experience level.
