Event Description:

Join the Emerging Professionals committee for an informal, no-commitment, social speed-mentoring event to celebrate the summer. Meet and mix with architects and designers over (free!) drinks and food outside at the brand new Wayland Brewery in Orchard Park. Then, we’ll split into 3 groups where experienced professionals will host conversations centered around their own experiences and specified topics like "work-life balance," "teaching," “alternative paths,” or "engaging with research.” After 15 minutes, these small groups will be shuffled to allow all participants to engage with each topic and guest. Contact information will be exchanged afterward so that conversations can continue if something clicks. This event is open to all regardless of experience level.
