Brief Description:

This tour will explore the challenges of designing and constructing a single-family home to high-performance building standards, and the use of the design-build delivery method in residential construction.  The design of the Miller Residence was inspired by the principles of Passive House, but did not pursue certification.  The tour will explore the high-performance features and design elements of the project, and discuss how sustainability goals were integrated into the process from design to construction.
