HVAC Systems for High Performance Schools

This presentation will offer today's designers with a variety of air distribution technologies that exist in the market today that have achieved significant improvements for school systems throughout North America to help meet the modern demands of operating educational facilities.

The following learning objectives will be addressed during the presentation:

1. Evaluate which High Performance School system is optimal based on school system requirements and construction type
2. Understand how to apply current codes and standards using a High Performance School design.
3. Present a variety of design techniques that can be used to apply High Performance School in any climatic region.  
4. Understand how a High Performance School can make the learning environment healthier and more comfortable for students and teachers.

This course offers one (1) AIA learning unit. Registration is required and may be completed by clicking here. There is a $5.00 registration fee for AIA members and $10.00 for non-members. Dinner and a 1-hour open bar will be provided.
