This course is designed to familiarize individuals with the planning and initiation phase of a historic rehabilitation project requiring window and / or door replacement.  It offers recommendations on when to restore and replace, how to select windows and doors, how to adhere to historic preservation standards, and how to earn historic tax credits.

This course will help architects identify the best planning and research methods for your projects, assess existing windows and doors, understand considerations and associated challenges for historic tax credit projects, and locate window and door solutions for historic rehabilitation projects.

This event is free and offers one (1) AIA HSW continuing education credit. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be provided after the presentation. Registration online is required, and may be done by clicking here. Seating is limited to 50 people.
