Our city and community have been deeply impacted by the tragic events of Saturday, May 14. The American Institute of Architects Buffalo/WNY Board of Directors offers our condolences to the families, friends, colleagues and neighbors of the victims.
We believe the hateful actions of one individual should not define our community. We add our voice to those already showing empathy, compassion, and generosity towards those immediately affected. Our communities are better when they are inclusive and enriched by diversity, and we are bigger and stronger than this moment. The City of Buffalo will continue to be the “City of Good Neighbors.”
We are committed to continue building equitable communities, where inclusion, access, and opportunity are available to all.
